Shantui bulldozer sets exclusive AI development standards

This unmanned bulldozer, codenamed DE26-X3, has the "world's first" value due to its triple advantages of "technological accumulation+precise innovation+industrial chain collaboration". Shantui has conducted secondary development based on domestic large-scale models, deeply integrating its 73 years of knowledge in construction machinery to create an exclusive AI decision-making model. At the same time, relying on the "Shandong Province Engineering Machinery Intelligent Equipment Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community" and collaborating with upstream and downstream partners in the industry chain, we can quickly fill the gaps in technology and achieve rapid transformation from laboratories to construction sites with nearly 70% local matching rate.
The biggest bottleneck in the research and development process is the improvement of operational accuracy after the integration of multiple technologies. In order to achieve perfect collaboration between AI models and massive hydraulic mechanical systems, a specialized team consisting of over 100 technical experts has gone through more than three months of continuous efforts. During the adaptation process of AI algorithms, the team collected over 1000 sets of data to build a database and conducted more than 100 simulation optimizations, which ultimately improved the control accuracy of the shovel by a critical 1 centimeter. ”A Shantui R&D engineer told reporters, "In terms of hardware, the circuit board went through more than 10 iterations and constantly adjusted parameters to control the shovel response error within ± 0.5%."
In the end, the proportion of independent research and development of the whole machine exceeded 80%, and the core technology and key components achieved a high degree of independent controllability. Shantui has also developed exclusive AI technology development standards based on passenger car autonomous driving standards and combined with construction machinery construction experience, setting a benchmark for the industry.
