Extreme cold challenge, unmanned pure electric mining card

The annual temperature difference of Huaneng Yimin open-pit mine in Inner Mongolia exceeds 60 degrees Celsius, from green grass in summer to white snow in winter. In December, the temperature had dropped to over minus 30 degrees Celsius, and in the snow covered mines, hundreds of unmanned pure electric mining trucks were shuttling forward in a "torrent of steel". The unmanned pure electric mining truck adopts special materials in the frame, cargo box structure, etc., and the transmission, hydraulic, braking and other systems have been optimized and tuned to easily withstand the extreme cold challenge of -40 ℃. The battery capacity is 568kW · h, with strong endurance. Under sustained low temperature conditions, the performance of the vehicle's three electric system is stable, and its strong environmental adaptability effectively ensures the continuity and stability of mining production in the harsh winter season, effectively achieving the goal of efficient operation around the clock. The unmanned mining truck is equipped with a photovoltaic green power system, which achieves 6-minute automatic battery swapping through a mobile swapping station, completely solving the "range anxiety" of electric mining trucks. In the Yimin mining area, Baitai mining trucks replace more than 15000 tons of diesel every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 48000 tons, and the environmental benefits are equivalent to planting 2.18 million trees around the mining area. The project leader of the mining area pointed out that the zero carbon operation mode has transformed the mine from a "major energy consumer" to a "green factory". As the world's first cluster of 100 used mining trucks, the vehicles are equipped with multiple safety redundancy systems, including 360 degree panoramic perception, obstacle recognition and active collision avoidance, dynamic path planning and other functions, effectively responding to complex road conditions and blind spot risks in mining areas, and building a solid "intrinsic safety" defense line for mines.
