Zoomlion R4300 tower crane completes precise lifting

Recently, the crossbeam of the Shangri La shore cable tower of the Lugu Lake Extra Large Bridge on the Xixiang Expressway was successfully closed. In the construction of this world-class project, the Zoomlion R4300 ultra large tower crane achieved millimeter level precision lifting at an altitude of 180 meters with precise control. The Lugu Lake Grand Bridge is a key control project of the Xichang Shangri La Expressway (Xixiang Expressway), with a total length of about 1922 meters, a main span of 1680 meters, and a bridge deck elevation of about 2400 meters. It integrates the "two pioneering, three high, four highest, and five extreme" aspects, and can be regarded as a world-class super project.
The combined effect of canyon gusts, temperature difference deformation, and component self weight poses a severe challenge to bridge hoisting and precise positioning: the bridge is located in the "three highs" area of high altitude, high drop, and high seismic intensity, and the "narrow tube effect" formed by the canyon terrain leads to frequent gusts and large temperature differences between day and night; The total weight of the crossbeam for this joint is about 233 tons. It is lifted in sections and assembled accurately at a height of 180 meters, which is equivalent to "threading needles and connecting wires" on a 60 story rooftop.
Two R4300 ultra large tower cranes from Zoomlion are responsible for lifting the main towers of the Xichang and Shangri La sections of the bridge, respectively. They possess both a "strong body" and a "smart brain", ensuring the stable lifting and precise positioning of large tonnage components with excellent performance. The R4300 tower crane maintains stable performance and precise control from the hoisting of the cable tower section to the closure of the middle crossbeam, providing escort for the construction of the bridge. The successful hoisting of the middle crossbeam marks the entry of the cable tower construction into a critical forming stage. After the completion of the Xixiang Expressway Lugu Lake Extra Large Bridge, it will completely end the history of Yanyuan County and Muli County not being connected to highways, and set a new benchmark for bridge construction in mountainous areas of China.
