Fuel Economy of Komatsu PC395LC-10 Excavator

We have been engaged in iron ore mining for over 30 years, and I have also been in contact with Komatsu for 30 years. I have known this brand since I was young, "Mr. Yang's words revealed his familiarity and trust in Komatsu. Looking back at this cooperation process, he knows all the Komatsu equipment he has used: from the early PC120 excavator and PC200 excavator, to the subsequent PC360-8, and finally to the PC395LC-10 introduced in 2023, each equipment precisely meets the operational needs of the mine. The mining operation environment is harsh, and the equipment must withstand the test of 24-hour continuous operation.

Komatsu has never disappointed us. "Mr. Yang has a clear judgment on the selection criteria for equipment:" The key to mining operations lies in efficiency and cost, and machines cannot be shut down every few days. "The performance of Komatsu's secondhand excavator has made Mr. Yang more at ease. Taking PC395LC-10 as an example, since its commissioning in 2023, it has accumulated over 12000 hours of operation. Even under high-intensity daily operations, its power output and operational sensitivity remain excellent. When I first chose hybrid power, it was for the sake of 'fuel efficiency and durability', and it has been proven that this decision was very correct. When it comes to the Komatsu PC395LC-10, what Mr. Yang praises the most is its excellent fuel economy. Although there has been no precise calculation of fuel consumption per hour, compared to the PC360-8, it saves at least one-third and can save at least 5 liters of fuel per hour. ”Behind this number is a real cost compression - the mine operates normally for over 500 hours per month and has an annual operating time of nearly 6000 hours.
